Chief Fasoore Osunlaanu Fakayode is the Founder of Ìlé Òye àti Ìmo (Home of Enlightenment and Knowledge) in New Jersey, United States and La Havana, Cuba, Her spiritual journey began in Cuba in 1996 as a Palo Mayombe Yaya. She has combined her experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist with different spiritual and religious system which have included Palo Mayombe, Santeria, Christianity, Buddhism, Catholicism, and the Indigenous Faith of Africa (IFA). She comes from a long line of spiritual leaders ranging from Cuba, the United States and Nigeria. Throughout all her personal experiences, Chief Fasoore Osunlaanu Fakayode has found a great need for communities to come together to help each other heal from cultural bond syndromes which include spiritual bondages. More than a religion, Ifa is a way of life that helps us to understand how to we can connect with specific aspects of nature itself.  IFA is mainly based on the belief that the natural elements of the world are within us physically and spiritually. Although there are many versions of the true origin of IFA, it is currently practiced by the Yoruba people of southwestern Nigeria and West Africa. it is practiced in Nigeria, United States, Caribbean and many countries worldwide.

ORCC will offer opportunities to participate in cultural and spiritual retreats and events in different parts in Africa, Caribbean, and South America throughout the year. We look forward to having you and your loved ones join us to honor the culture of the members within our community!

Together We Can Change The World!
